Or, mix seeds with a small amount of moist (not wet) vermiculite, peat, or sand in a plastic bag. Then move the bag(s) from place to place to satisfy the seeds’ stratification requirements. Once the requirements are met, you don’t have to separate seed from the vermiculite, peat, or sand — just sow the contents of the bag by spreading the mix on the surface of a container filled with germinating medium.

Regardless of how you handle stratification, write the sowing date and stratification schedule on the label for each plant. You’ll also need to keep track of the schedule on your gardening calendar, so pots get moved from one spot to the other as required.
